My namesake .....

...... and blooming in my garden. I can't believe it!  Yesterday there wasn't even a sign of a bud on my Meconopsis 'Lingholm'.  I was out for coffee with a friend and when I came back at lunchtime there it was ...... a beautiful blue poppy.

L and I are hoping to go to Branklin Gardens fairly soon and perhaps I will buy another blue poppy to be company for No.1
