Agadir

Arrived into Agadir at 6 after a poor night's sleep on a coach from Meknes. Me and S went to the beach, had a disappointing mint tea, then sat and watched a dog run around with a huge dead gull. Walked through a small and sad wildlife park, then snoozed in our hotel before food and a real bed. On top of the hill is the Kasbah from the old town of Agadir, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1960. The rubble was sprayed with lime and DDT and the whole mess was left. Now the town is concrete and ghostly, even when there's people around.
