Flesh fly

Flies in the family Sarcophagidae are called flesh flies, they, or their larvae clear up the dead matter in the environment.

They lay developed maggots on carrion, dung and  decaying vegetation or open wounds. 

You don't want them in the kitchen, but they do a good job, cleaning up.
