Looking grumpy ........

......... & grabbing a kip!

Thankfully I wasn't woken up early hours again this morning ..... unlike yesterday ..... when the cacophony of noise from the latest clutch of Starlings to fledge was horrendous! It was rather more muted this morning ...... I think most of them must have fledged by now!

As you can see ....... Mrs Blackbird came for a visit ...... she doesn't look too impressed with having her photo taken though! She was rather disgruntled as the Starlings wouldn't let her get anywhere near the food or water ...... she gave up in the end & flew off!

The bottom shot is of one of the Starling fledglings ...... being out of the nest must be rather tiring ..... it had settled down for a short nap!
