Slip sliding

Can I refuse to work on the grounds that the ground is rock solid and being a mobile rural youth worker means use of lanes that haven't seen a bit of salt and behave like ice rinks? Surely its not safe? Surely a long weekend is called for? No?

Tonight it was off to the old secondary school (where I also visited with my last job) for a talent night. Talent was wide ranging! The guitarist in the 'staff' band was the same guy who was my year head 20 years ago! He's a legend.

Good news on the MAC .. the insurance are helping me out with a new one. Happy days.
