Yet another Heron !!

Well no, it is the same one that I saw the other day, on the same 30 metre stretch of river that I walk beside every afternoon when I take the dogs for a walk. This time he was less concerned about my  ( and the dogs' ) presence and he let me get quite close. It's great to see the feather detail with the outside wisps blowing in the wind. He/she did fly off eventually but of course that was the moment that I had stopped recording. Nevertheless I quite like this fairly static pose though he is walking forward very gingerly. I guess its the water quality that attracted me. to this particular shot.
