Watching Brief

A little trip into London today for both of us. We joined the Open City Shoreditch Photography Tour (full details here). It was an extremely informative few hours, the amount of information our tour guide knew about the area was fantastic. Shoreditch is an area going through a significant transformation. Many buildings have been refactored from traditional use and others are being cleared to make way for new developments. It felt like one of those areas you could revisit in 6 months time and not recognise some streets and buildings. It was very flat light so not ideal for photography but we made the best of it. After the walk, we had a drink and snack at the London Cat Village having passed it on the walk around. Another interesting experience, purrfect for cat fans of course!!
