Soaked

A bit of  lie in, after our troubled trials of yesterday, and a relaxed morning.  Then back to work writing up my part of the outputs from the Inverness event.  Mid-afternoon we went out for a walk.  The sky was blue when we left the house, then grey, then nearly black.  Then the rain came, lightly at first, then torrential.  We were quickly soaked to the skin, but battled back home as best we could. At least we didn't get struck by lightning, which actually did happen to a plane which took off from the nearby airport this afternoon!  The pic is of a gnarled clematis which is climbing up a telegraph pole.  Just managed to snap this before the rain came down.
