Bedraggled Tawny Mining Bee
I went for a quick walk down the track between showers late afternoon and came across this poor bedraggled tawny mining bee. I thought it was a beetle at first as the orange hairs looked like a metallic shell out the corner of my eye. It was hiding amongst the the Wild Carrot/ Queen Anne's Lace plants, probably sheltering from the rain.
The theme for the next Mono Monday is NUMBERS and the tag will be mm122. Feel free to interpret in anyway you like.
