Backyard Blues

As I took advantage of a brief let-up in this full day of solid rain to venture out, a Blue Jay landed for just a moment on the backyard feeder pole, but as soon as he saw me, allowing me only a couple of shots, he was gone.  Otherwise, it has been a very quiet day.
