While I was working and really nearly finishing, Laura came into the study looking like this. Classic. I was glad I gave her the washable markers. This meant a quick wash and we could leave the house, especially that I wanted to pop into my office. Showing off a child with permanent marker on her face would destroy my working mother reputation. You know, that perfect woman who can do it all, have it all, works full time, her children are immaculate and the house spotless. Not the type who chases her tail non stop and collapses for the night while putting her toddler to bed.
