A Chilli Summer
It's mid-summer. I had initially hoped to get much more done in the garden over the past few months but, with full-time work and the poorest summer weather in years, these chaps are the sole survivors of my labour (along with a scattering of carrot plants, a cucumber seedling and an admittedly ill-looking sunflower). Nevertheless, I've managed something and I'm going to enjoy cooking with them; four varieties of chillies. In fact, I managed to get a good bit of the garden tidied today. Home now though, with a tasty Arbroath Smokie for supper. Fishing with Harriet tomorrow - should be good!
