Exploring Sydney

Today we went on a big excursion around the city. We walked down some cobbled streets and found ourselves in 'The Rocks'- a historic area of the city filled with beautiful old buildings, cosy little pubs, charming markets and shady trees. Late afternoon, we met up with some friends and walked around the Botanical Gardens, this gave us a great view of the sunset over the bridge- it was so lovely to see the city basking in an orange glow. In the evening we all went out to eat in China town and then headed to the atmospheric Darling Harbour for some drinks. We certainly crammed a lot in today!
