Derelict Sunday...

this ruin ( about 3 miles from where I live ) was used in 1922 by Irregular Troops ( original I.R.A.) to ambush a passing lorry of Free State Troops, of which 3 were killed and 5 seriously injured....the ambushers took all ammunition from the lorry and were never caught....the house has been abandoned since then.
