Scorpion Fly

Backblip

After a long shift at work, I stopped at the supermarket for a few items and decided to walk home from there, hoping that I would find something to blip. Several bees were visiting the flowers on a particular shrub, but none of them stayed still long enough. It was then that I spotted this Scorpion Fly and managed to take a few photos of it.

The Great Crested Grebes, who seemed to have started building a new nest on the platform on Thursday, were nowhere to be seen this time.
