Lyoner
I'm a proud Pälzer, but sometimes I buy the Saarlands (our neighbour state) local "speciality": Lyoner. In other parts of Germany its called "Fleischwurst", but never ever here. I live very close to the Saarland, so I am excused for calling it Lyoner, too. Please don't say "boloney"!
You can eat Lyoner:
- cold (out of your hand) or on bread (photo!)
- warmed up in soup or stew
- fried in an original Lyonerpann
There are one million recipes for Lyoner around here!
