Chafer beetle

Well I had a big shock as I opened the front door to leave for work this morning,, being meet by this little monster. It was about an inch in size and at that stage I didn't have a clue what it was, my first thought was a cockroach, but on doing some searching online I realised it was a chafer beetle.
As my macro lens is playing up this is the best I could get, and I had to get closer to it than I wanted as it gave me the creeps. It had its eye on me for sure.
