Day One

Fortunately the weather was overcast today so it made sightseeing a pleasure. Still warm but we were not baking in the heat.

Our first stop was Jardin Majorelle. A beautiful garden hidden from the mayhem outside. We also visited the Berber museum which had some fantastic examples of clothing worn by the oldest people in North Africa.

After a lunch stop we took a wander to the famous Djemaa El-Fna. The square was fairly busy with the snake charmers, henna tattoo artists and water sellers in fringed hats. We managed a little shopping  (see extra) and made a reservation for dinner a little restaurant in the Medina for tomorrow night.
