Golden pool

Our first full day on Lewis has  been wonderful!

After a hearty breakfast we set off to Mangersta for a walk on the beach with the huge rollers and then across the cliff tops to the bothy. Afterwards Mr hazelh, walkingMarj and I headed inland to find a cave in the hills that we first heard about at breakfast this morning. Mr hazelh was chief navigator and soon guided us to our destination.
 
The cave was about the size of a large bathroom with a couple skylights. It also featured a little antechamber suitable for housing gold-loving dwarves, as can be seen from my magical blip.
