Reward!

Well, we did the walk! 
It was perfect walking weather, not hot, or cold, or wet or windy. We did the
8Km in exactly 2 hours - the beef burgers looked and smelled lovely when we finished and I decided to have one. I didn't feel like sharing it with Merlin as I was very hungry, so I bought one for him too (no onion) - I have never spent £4.50 on a treat for a dog before, but we both enjoyed our lunch!
One extra shows the restraint he can show - the beef burger was given to him a piece at a time and remained on the plate in between. The other extra was taken by a fellow walker of the two of us on the walk.
