Number 8 Whakarewa Street

No not Number 8 wire. I didn't think of that till now. Number 8 Whakarewa Street
This is a relatively new car yard at the town end of the street we live near. My beef is not with the colours (see extra) nor the business, but how they have used the play on words for Motor and Motueka to make a new word Motoreka. I am not a numbers person, more a words person and it grates on my word sensibilities when I see a place name used like this.
We have enough trouble with people saying the name wrong without putting it into a trade name all wrong as well.
Maybe I am old hat. Anyway, it gave me a number for mono Monday. Feeble effort but that was how it was today.
