Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
We have a lovely sunny, warm Monday and I have enjoyed a very long walk with the camera before lunch.
I have watered my raised bed at the railway station growing area, and was amazed by the massive growing power of the flat parsley. It is nutritionally very good for you, Apparently St. Francis of Assisi was very fond of it.
I had a few nice chats with local neighbours and some I had admired the garden of, but only met them for the first time today. They have successfully grown marigolds from seed and their orange azalea is gorgeous (bottom middle shot in my collage.)
I will be avidly watching The Royal Chelsea Flower Show.
Have a great week blipper friends.
The extra is a panorama from near the canalside, looking across to the motorway, near Church and Oswaldtwistle.
