Mother duck

When I looked out the window this morning I saw this mother duck walking her newborns through our garden! I think she was lost...our pond is not quite big enough and full of frogs.
I hope she found her way back again where ever she came from, last year an adventurous duck walked her brood down the middle of the road and it caused a traffic commotion during the school run 'rush hour'! And then one of the chicks ended up falling down the drain in the road and was lifted out by a passing parent. Maybe its the same one, she wised up and waited for the start of the school holidays this year.
