And then the rain came

By mid-afternoon the rain had arrived. Late home due to an after work meeting, I wondered if the peonies had survived the downpour - they are just beginning to open and the rain always seems to spoil them.  Most were still tightly furled buds, but one had partially opened, and had gathered water inside, and raindrops on the outside.  Blip sorted!
