The set of songs to be played at his funeral and which would confirm his impeccable taste. Yes, he had a Beatles track, but it was Rain rather than Yesterday. Miles Davies was represented by an alternative take from “Kind of Blue”. And, of course, there was The Fall.

His widow, after years of having her musical tastes dismissed as shallow took her revenge. And so the mourners were treated to Unchained Melody, Seasons in the Sun and Hi-Ho Silver Lining.
