Rose

We've finally had some warm sunny weather here today, possibly a tad too warm for me if truth be told. The upshot of this is that I've not been feeling terribly creative blipwise. However these roses in the garden are quite lovely, the old fashioned simple flowers with open faces which I much prefer to the flouncy multi-petal jobs which look more like peonies. Don't get me wrong, I adore peonies but I prefer my roses to look like roses.

Having said all that none of the photos I took really popped for me so I asked my friend E to choose instead.

Thank you for all the votes and lovely comments yesterday. Looking at all the entries there's some terrific blips and really stiff competition so I don't envy those who will have to do the judging.
