A bit of nostalgia
The blue co-op sign of my childhood. I used to love sticking the stamps into the book on a Friday after mum went shopping. The messages were then delivered in a box on a milk float by tea time.
Having been brought up on the east coast of Scotland, we referred to this shop as the "Co-op" but when we visited relatives in the west, it was called the "Co-operative"! It was the main supermarket in St Andrews along with Cooper's Fine Fare and Galbraiths.
Looking forward to getting the stamps again - who knows, won't be long till the Greenshields stamps make a come back and we can all have a full kitchen cupboard of matching tumblers!!!
