Ermine and anthers
It's easier to photograph butterflies in the early evening, when in a state of torpor. That way you can get much closer, especially with a fixed lens or compact zoom. Okay, you don't get the open wing shots, but there's still beauty to behold on the undersides. This is a female orange tip
