Mrs Scotti of Rocca

There was a thunderstorm during the night so the ground was muddy when we went out before breakfast. Later that morning we visited the hilltop village of Rocca. I had the camera on a tripod and was going to photograph this open doorway when the lady came out to feed the many village cats. Luckily she moved slowly and I was able to set up a 5 shot bracketing sequence on the camera in the hope of being able to make a decent image. There was a large contrast between the sunlit building and the dark interior. Not my best image but a great memory.
