Altogether now, un, deux, trois

The big window went in today (hallelujah!) and we sat in the garden and watched the lovely team in matching shorts and tops (or not) as they danced them into place.

The mobile sucky craney thingy swung the big panes into place but couldn't reach high enough to lift the smaller ones (a mere 125 kilos apiece.). So the boys carried them up some home-made steps onto a scaffold and finished it off up a wobbly ladder. Eekamouse.

This is the first one going in and as you can see the boys needed to work as a team to lift this little beauty over their heads.

All the windows were installed without a hitch or a crack and Lizzie and I can finally let out our breath. They look ..... fantastic.
