Acorn
Plenty of little Quercus robur (Pedunculate Oak) seedlings around our meadows & rough grassland, thanks to them Jays. Apparently they're incredibly good at remembering where they've hidden them, but I guess they just hide so many that inevitably plenty germinate and grow.
I think we're leaning towards farming nature on our place, so perhaps one day this little fella will be home to some of them Tawny Owls round us?
