Centenary Year

2016 is the Centenary Year of the Rhododendron Society.
Founded in Lanarth, Cornwall in 1916.
Burncoose Nurseries have just won a Gold medal at Chelsea Flower show, with their tribute to the Society. Helped by the great grandchildren of three of the four founder members.
Well done to them all..

What better place to see them in Yorkshire than Harlow Carr Gardens.
The collage really doesn't do them justice.
A beautiful day, with deep blue sky, and clear fresh air.
Perfect for showing off the flowers, in amongst the fresh green leaves of the woodland.
Breathtakingly beautiful.
We have had a wonderful day.
