Today's pic is of Banff National Park in Alberta.

Unfortunately I'm not actually there. This is today's photo in a wonderful book by Yann Arthus-Bertrand " The Earth from the Air 366 Days".

It was Canada's first national park, founded in 1885, but it has been so popular with tourism booming, that recreational and commercial development has had to be curbed because of ecological damage.  

For example, grizzly bears have not learnt how to cross roads safely.
