Shamrock Brooch

This little brooch was given to my grandfather Benjamin August GAWN by Sir Thomas LIPTON way back in the late 1930s for crewing on his yachts in the America Cup Races - the brooch was a gift for the wives of the crew - but I do not whether my grandmother ever wore it
