A Grand Day Out

Day off and what a beautiful day I got :-)
We decided to head north to Lochgilphead to stop at the garden centre there to see if we could get a strimmer.
Strimmer bought we then headed to Bellanoch for a walk along the Crinan canal to the Crinan basin.
What a beautiful day we got for this walk, one of our favourites.
We stopped at the print wagon to pass the time of day with Fraser Maciver an artist who is based on the banks of the Crinan canal, then it was on to the cafe at the Crinan basin.
So lovely and cool in the cafe and Maeve enjoyed the chance to cool down.

We then headed back along the tow path and picked up the car at Bellanoch stopping at Lochgilphead and its revamped Coop.
Where we bumped into the artist John Lowrie Morrison at the checkout :-)
Nice surprise as we like his work.
We were back home in by late afternoon.
