Promise of things to come...

The apple blossom is fully out now and looking lovely. Ours has much less pink than some others, and the tree produces delicious apples - sharp like Discovery but looking more like a Cox. The tree must be a good 30-49 years pulled as it was mature when we moved in, so it's probably a traditional variety. Thank you, to whoever planted it.
