Dazzle Ship

You may well wonder what this is. Dazzle camouflage has been used on navy ships to disguise their shapes on the open sea, just as a group (a dazzle) of zebras does when they run together and confuse their prey.
Well, the extra reveals all. This is the MV Fingal, bought recently to be refurbished as a luxury hotel to lie alongside the Britannia in Leith docks. We have watched the painting job for a few weeks, wondering what on earth was going on. It is part of the WW1 centenary celebrations.
Apparently, there is a Morse code message which is revealed when it is dark.
And, the sign is blue.
