Day 145 of 366 - St Mark's Church!
Today's photo was taken early this evening just outside the City centre of Coventry. It is a view of St Mark's Annexe. This Grade II listed building was originally built as a church in 1868. The building ceased to be used as a church in the early 1970's. For many years since then it was used an outpatient department to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital. The annexe was closed about after it was moved to the newer University Hospital complex in the Walsgrave area of Coventry. At the moment the building is empty and there are no current plans for the use of the old church or annexe.
The photo was taken using the app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Handy Photo to edit the picture. I deleted a few road signs and a parking meter from outside the building. Next I used the app Snapseed to further edit the photo. I cropped the image and then I applied both the Tonal Contrast and HDR Scape filters. I also sharpened the image a little and added some extra structure. Next I used the app Brushstroke to add the Oil O4 paint preset. I changed the canvas type to Cold press. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Clarify preset, the Cross Process FX, a medium dark vignette. I then added the Canvas texture and the Burlap frame.
