Flooding

We managed to fly into Whakatane today, which was a bit touch and go considering the flights to Tauranga were cancelled. We were a little late for our clinics as we were delayed, but did get there and saw all the people we were supposed to.

We had to drive through to Tauranga in the evening where we were staying, and we'd been warned we might not get through. This was the closest time we had for being stopped, the water was starting to breech the road. But we did get into our VERY swanky hotel, and I had a gorgeous spa bath after dinner out.
