Writing a line or two

Such a dull day today . Already at 3pm it seems to be getting dark as shower after shower go across....minus thunder, thus far.
A good report from the cardiologist , so on retuning home to the log fire, I returned to our office to complete gathering papers for the accountant.
Favourite old  bone china mugs, no longer serviceable in the kitchen , make their way to the desk as holders of pens.
