Lion Rampant
The Lion Rampant (Royal Standard of Scotland) can be traced back to Alexander ii 1222.
This carving is part of a statue of Robert the Bruce born 1274, and was King of Scots from 1306 to his death in 1329.
This statue sits on the esplanade of Stirling Castle.
