Asheville, NC

We took a field trip to Asheville to show my parents a truly unique entity: a liberal Southern city. Not an only one down here, but one of the very few, for sure. Beautiful street art decorates many corners and plazas, all businesses recycle, many use solar water heating and photovoltaic panels for power.

The image is at a weird angle, because the alley is very narrow, and I took it from the opposite corner.
