Abseiling slug!

I just couldn't believe it when I found this slug descending on a spider-like thread when I opened the greenhouse this morning. It was a couple of feet lower than the shelf from which it was hanging and about the same height off the ground. No wonder slug pellets don't always work if they can approach plants from above,
