Elderberry

Another day that started off better than it has turned out, the opposite of yesterday! We had thunderstorms last night but nothing like the tornado down near Dodge City. We saw that on the Weather Channel and it was very dramatic, a very big tornado that touched down, went back into the sky and then came down again. Fortunately this was in open rangeland and away from towns, but I don't know what damage it did to the wheat. There must have been quite a lot.
Fortunately the noise I heard in the car turns out to be tire noise, or at least that is what the mechanics suggested. We are not rushing into doing anything at present. The only way to know that they are right is to put four new tires on and we are not inclined to do that at present!
