In Between Trains

These are the 'ticket barriers' at Manchester Victoria Station.   I always approach them with trepidation in case my ticket isn't accepted.   And this proved the case today, leaving me standing there with people queueing up behind me.   Fortunately, there was a very pleasant Ticket Collector close at hand who shouted "It's okay, love.  I'm right behind you."   Crisis avoided.
Otherwise a very pleasant day, meeting a friend, having lunch and shopping.
