Back to my roots..

An old school friend that now lives in North Yorkshire, had to come down for a funeral so we took the opportunity to meet up with another friend who still lives in Cambridge.
We instantly slipped back into easy conversation as only true, old friends can. We had an early, leisurely dinner and caught up with each other's lives and reminisced over our school days.
Two of us are grandmas! How did we get so old??!!
I had to drive back to Northamptonshire, so I left at 9.15, just as the sun set. I took this picture as I walked over Magdelane bridge.
We have promised to meet more often and I hope we manage it. :-)
