Naked Men

Cycling over the 'Lange Voorhout' one of the nicest lanes in the Hague I noticed that the Rainbow Nation Collection is also lit at night, so here's a pretty fresh Blip. I already shot these sculptures in daylight, but liked this desolated lane at moonlight with only the two nude men in the spotlight.

This specific man has a knot in his manlyhood - don't ask me why - and is aiming two pistols both ways. It is called 'The Last Hatted Autocrat' and is sculpted in Bronze by David Brown in 2009.

More specifics or Google:

This summer The Hague is hosting the exhibition The Rainbow Nation with contemporary sculpture from South Africa. With more than fifty sculptures by the major South African artists of the past sixty years. From 29 May to 9 September on the Lange Voorhout and from 8 June to 30 September in Beelden aan Zee Museum.
