WOO HOO IT'S OUT !

Do you recognise Mt. Roy in the June issue of the N. Z. GARDENER, which came out yesterday ? There is a six page spread on my garden, & I couldn't be happier. I think the photographer & the journalist (both from Auckland ) have done an amazing job.

No frost, consequently not so cold today. I have over a dozen seedling maples which I potted up over the Summer months, & this morning we planted them out in the top block. (The Long Walk ) Because they're so small I will have to put tyres round them, to protect them from the rabbits. I have a man who brings me tyres on a regular basis. Maybe you young things get wine, flowers, perhaps chocolates, but it is tyres for me. Isn't that romantic !
