Whoopie Pies - creamy, dreamy delights!

My daughter made cookies from a new recipe today, actually it's a new kind of cookies called Whoopie pies. She made lemon whoopie pies and they were absolutely delicious!
According to Amish legend Pennsylvanian women made these cakes from leftover cake batter as lunchtime dessert. When farmers and children opened their lunch boxes, they would find the treat and shout with delight, "whoopie".
