Stone Faced

After they'd eaten - R - who is a volunteer driver for the local luncheon club - took a couple of his ladies - both over 80yo - and me - to see the film set at Penistone - had to explain they only stone clad the bits of the building that will be seen in the film

They were delighted by the trip out - regaled us with tales of outings to Haworth and tramps across the moors in times gone by - memories of visits to other places we passed by were recalled - a pleasure to listen to their stories

Not one of us was stone faced
